SONOGAMES TÜRKİYE

• The competition will take place on Friday, 15 November, from 20:00 to 22:00 in Hall 2.
• Applications will be accepted by filling out the form on the application registration link between 14 October 2024, and 10 November 2024.
• Participants of SONOGAMES Turkiye will be contacted via the application email addresses and registered phone numbers.
• Applications will not be accepted through social media.
• The complete list of participants, including all competitors, will be announced on 14 November 2024, at 14:00 at the TATD booth in the congress foyer area and on the social media accounts of TATDUS and the TATD congress.
• Competitors must complete their participant registration for the 10th Eurasian Congress on Emergency Medicine and the 20th Turkish Congress on Emergency Medicine before 15 November 2024.

• First Place Prize: Congress registration & accommodation at the 2025 EMAT Course Days for each team member

• Second Place Prize: Registration & accommodation at the 2025 ATAS for each team member

• Third Place Prize: Free registration for each team member at the 2025 EMAT course

All participants will receive a "Sonogames Turkey 2024" medal and the book "Emergency Ultrasonography" as gifts.

Prizes are non-transferable and must be used in the year they are awarded.

• Competitors must be emergency medicine residency students.
• Each competitor can only compete in one team.
• TATDUS members and instructors cannot be competitors.
• Each team consists of competitors
• Each clinic can participate with a maximum of one team.
• If a clinic cannot form a team for the competition, two individuals from different clinics can come together to form a team.
• Each team selects a nickname/team name for itself. A team that does not choose a nickname will be referred to by the name of the clinic it registered with.
• Teams may use themed costumes, accessories, or makeup for the competition if they wish. Since it will be a dynamic competition, it is recommended to choose clothing that allows for running and quick walking.

• All teams that wish to participate in the competition and meet the participation criteria will be accepted.
• On 15 November 2024, Friday from 19:00 to 19:30, all teams participating in the competition will be taken to the Meeting Room, where details about the competition will be explained. Teams that do not attend the meeting will be disqualified from the competition.
• The first stage of the competition is designed as a preliminary round. After all applications are completed, the number of stages and elimination procedures will be explained to the competitors during the pre-competition meeting.
• In this competition, where competitors and spectators will learn while having fun, competitors will perform procedures with ultrasound assistance in each stage, make diagnoses, and make decisions.
• TATDUS officials will welcome the competitors in all stages and will provide brief explanations for the procedures to be performed in each stage.
• All teams will move from stage to stage accompanied by a TATDUS officials throughout the competition.
• The teams' performance in each stage will be evaluated by the juries based on predetermined time and correct answer criteria, and the scores for each stage will be calculated and totaled at the end of the competition.
• In the event of a tie, the stage times will be decisive.

2. How will I know if I have been accepted into the competition?

The complete list of participants, including all competitors, will be announced on November 14, 2024, at 14:00 at the TATD booth in the congress foyer area and on the social media accounts of TATDUS and the TATD congress. Additionally, your acceptance status for the competition will be communicated to you via the email address and phone number you provided on the registration form.

3. I would like to participate in the competition, but I don't have a partner. Can I still participate?

Due to the competition's concept, teams must consist of 2 members. If you are unable to find two participants from the same clinic, you can form a team with partners from other clinics.

4. Will TATDUS officials assist us with the questions?

No. They will only accompany you to ensure you are in the right place at the right time during the competition orientation, and they will record your stage times.
