Emergency Microphone

We invite Emergency Medicine Specialists who are within the first 5 years of their specialization, Faculty Members, and Instructors who are members of the Emergency Medicine Association of Turkiye to the "Emergency Microphone" session. Candidates who wish to apply will have the opportunity to be included in the scientific program with an innovative presentation on any topic aimed at advancing the field of emergency medicine. This year's theme for the Emergency Microphone panel is "Emergency Departments of the Future."

Candidates can apply by sending a 10-minute presentation video and a purpose letter explaining how their presentation will contribute to the field of emergency medicine to info@eacem.org by October 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM. 

The presentation videos will undergo evaluation by a jury, and the top three candidates with the highest scores will have their congress participation and accommodation expenses at Selectum Luxury Resort Belek covered by the Emergency Medicine Association of Turkiye. Candidates who qualify for inclusion in the scientific program will give a 15-minute presentation in the TATKON 2024 – Emergency Microphone session. 

Participation Criteria 

• Being an Emergency Medicine Specialist, Faculty Member, or Instructor within the first 5 years of their specialization.
• Being a member of the Emergency Medicine Association of Turkiye (EMAT) and having no unpaid membership fees.
• Not having previously given a presentation in the Emergency Microphone panel
• Not having any duties in the congress scientific program.
