Dr. Abdullah Şen began his medical career in September 2009 as a general practitioner at Diyarbakır Şehitlik Health Center. Three months later, he was appointed as the responsible physician at the same institution, and after 11 months, he became the District Health Director (Health Group President) of the same district. He held this position between 2010 and 2012. In 2012, he started his residency in Emergency Medicine at Dicle University, Department of Emergency Medicine. Upon completing his specialization, he was appointed as an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Diyarbakır S.B.Ü. Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital in May 2016. In January 2018, he assumed the role of Deputy Head of Hospital Services at Diyarbakır Provincial Health Directorate. After resigning from this position in August 2019, he began working as an Assistant Professor at Dicle University, Department of Emergency Medicine, where he continues his academic career. He is also a senior student in the Department of Health Management at Dicle University.
