Türker Demirtakan

Taksim Research and Training Hospital, Türkiye

I was born in Üsküdar in August 1991. I graduated from İstanbul Köy Hizmetleri Anatolian High School. I chose Zonguldak Karaelmas University in 2009 to study medicine in a city by the sea; however, I graduated in 2016 under its new name, Bülent Ecevit University. Like many others, I developed an interest in emergency medicine during my internship, which led me to choose Emergency Medicine as my specialty in the Medical Specialization Exam. I completed my residency at the Department of Emergency Medicine, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. During my training, I also pursued a master’s degree in Biostatistics and Medical Informatics. I am currently working as a specialist in the Emergency Medicine Clinic at Taksim Training and Research Hospital. Outside of my professional life, I am the husband of Zeynep Gizem, the uncle of Alp, and a fan of Eskişehirspor.
