Prof. Dr. Nurşah Başol was born in 1980 in Ankara. She completed her medical education at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine. In 2011, she became a specialist in Emergency Medicine at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. Başol began her academic career at Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine, where she successively obtained the titles of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She stands out with her strong scientific productivity, having numerous national and international publications, presentations, and scholarly works.
In 2022, Başol joined Yalova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, as a faculty member, contributing significantly to the academic and administrative development of the faculty. In this context, she was appointed Dean of Yalova University Faculty of Medicine in 2025, taking on a leadership role in the institutional advancement of the faculty.
