Turgut Deniz

Prof. Dr. Deniz graduated from 19 Mayıs University, Faculty of Medicine in 1996. He worked as a general practitioner at Lüleburgaz First Aid Station between 1996 and 1998. He started as a research assistant at 19 Mayıs University, Department of Emergency Medicine in 1998 and completed his Emergency Medicine specialist training and received the title of specialist doctor in 2003. Prof. Dr. Deniz completed his military service for 1 year at GATA Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital in 2003. In 2004, he started to work as a founding faculty member and Department Head at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine and received the title of Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the same institution in 2010. Prof. Dr. Deniz received the title of Professor at Kırıkkale University in 2015. He served as a Member of the Faculty Board and a Member of the Faculty Executive Board as the associate professor representative between 2011 and 2014. Prof. Dr. Deniz was appointed as the Vice Dean of Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine in 2018. He was appointed as the Chief Physician of Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine in 2020. He served as the acting Head of the Department of Radiology between 2023-2024. He currently has more than 70 national presentations, 50 international presentations, 20 national articles, 30 international articles, 4 book chapters, 5 national and 1 international research award.
