Şadi Evren Şeker

Prof. Dr. Şadi Evren Şeker completed his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering. His Master's and Ph.D. theses were focused on artificial intelligence. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a postdoctoral researcher for an extended period in the United States and later in six other countries.

Dr. Şeker is an expert in natural language processing, data mining, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. He has published over 100 scientific papers in these fields. Moreover, he introduced the concept of the "Computerized Argument Delphi Technique" to the literature. This concept is an enhanced version of the Delphi method, used to more effectively gather expert opinions in decision-making processes.

Currently, he serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technologies at Istanbul University and is the founder and CEO of OptiWisdom, an artificial intelligence company based in Silicon Valley, USA. His primary focus is on the applicability of artificial intelligence for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and he is involved in projects related to explainable AI, responsible AI, and data science.
