Rıdvan Atilla
After graduating from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, he had received the title of Emergency Medicine specialist from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Emergency Medicine in 1999. He served as a board-certified EM specialist at DEU DEM for 24 years and left as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine in 2023. He currently works as visiting faculty at Eastern Mediterranean University. He has contributed to more than 50 scientific publications as author, chapter writer or translator, and also wrote a chapter in the 7th Edition of the Tintinalli's Emergency Medicine Textbook. He is the past president of EMAT and have been working at EMAT for 29 years. He took part in many national and international projects, symposiums, congresses, courses in his professional career. Most recently, he took part in the APR project carried out by the WHO Azerbaijan country office within the UN. He was the immediate-past president of the Turkish Board of Emergency Medicine. His professional interests include CPR, BLS, ALS, trauma, triage, toxicology, disaster medicine, wilderness medicine, motor sports medicine and pre-hospital EMS.
