Dr. Özlem Bayrak Başakçı graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English Program) and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Emergency Medicine.
After completing her training, she worked in various public and university hospitals. Since 2024, she has been serving as a flight physician at Redstar Aviation and currently holds the position of Deputy Medical Director at the same institution.
Her clinical interests include trauma management, critical care, and aeromedical medicine.
