Born in 1979 in Çayeli, Rize, Türkiye. She completed her primary and secondary education in Trabzon. In 2001, she graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2002 and 2006, she completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. From 2006 to 2008, she fulfilled her compulsory state service at Uşak State Hospital. Between 2008 and 2024, she worked as a faculty member at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. As of March 2024, she has been serving as a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Health Sciences, İzmir Faculty of Medicine, Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, where she also holds the position of Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine. She also holds a degree in Health Care Management from Anadolu University Open Education Faculty. She is certified by the Turkish Board of Emergency Medicine with the Emergency Medicine Board Certification. Between 2020 and 2024, she served as a member of the Examination Committee of the Turkish Board of Emergency Medicine, and since 2024, she has been the Secretary of the Accreditation Committee.

She has authored more than 50 articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals and presented over 100 abstracts at national and international scientific meetings. She has contributed as an author or translator to 13 book chapters in national and international publications. Her scientific work has received over 100 citations. Furthermore, she has participated as an invited speaker in more than 50 national and international congresses, symposia, and courses.
