Mehmet Dokur

Graduating from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1992, he completed his residency training in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the same faculty in 2000. He then worked as an emergency medicine specialist at various hospitals providing healthcare services, primarily at Kilis State Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Mehmet Dokur served as Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine between 2017 and 2024. He became an associate professor in emergency medicine in 2018 and earned the title of professor in emergency medicine at the same university in 2024. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dokur, who is married with three children, has been serving as the Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Faculty of Medicine since 2025. He has over 100 articles published in nationally and internationally indexed scientific journals.
