Lee Wallis

Professor Lee Alan Wallis is Lead: Emergency and Critical Care at WHO Headquarters, Geneva. He is based within the Clinical Services and Systems Unit.

Before taking up this post. he was Head of Emergency Medicine for the Western Cape Government, and Professor and Head of the Division of Emergency Medicine at both the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Lee has been president of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine, and was Founder and President of the African Federation for Emergency Medicine. He was Editor in Chief of the African Journal of Emergency Medicine, edited several books and has published around 350 journal articles.
