Kang Hyun Lee

Dr. Kang Hyun Lee is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yonsei University, Wonju College of Medicine, South Korea. He is both a certified specialist in emergency medicine and an intensive care specialist in South Korea.
Dr. Lee currently serves as the President of the Korean Society of Disaster Medicine and the President of the Korean Automobile Safety Association. He has also held numerous prestigious roles, including Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine, Past President of the Korean Society of Traumatology, and Past Asia Representative Board Member of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM). Additionally, he chaired the Organizing Committee for the 2019 International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM).
Born on June 15, 1963, Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine in 1989, became board-certified in emergency medicine in 1997, and intensive care medicine in 2009. He has authored around 200 academic papers and 14 books and has presented extensively at international conferences on topics related to emergency medicine, traumatology, digital health care and critical care.
