Hülya Çakır

He graduated from Samsun 19 Mayıs University, Department of Environmental Engineering in 1989. He completed his master's degree in Environmental Management at Eskişehir Technical University. He has been working at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change since 1991. Development of waste management in Turkey, legislation preparation processes, circular economy, establishment of sustainable waste management systems, development of waste management policies, establishment of a zero waste management system and creation of its inventory, giving zero waste training, seminars and conferences and raising awareness in the society, monitoring and auditing practices. He took an active role in the issues. He worked as a zero waste coordinator in 2015-2016. He has been working as the Zero Waste Education and Awareness Branch Manager since 2017. She is married and the mother of two children.
