Dr. Göksu Bozdereli Berikol is a faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Atılım University. She holds a master's degree in Health Informatics from Gazi University and a doctorate in Medical Informatics from Akdeniz University. Her primary research interests are Emergency Medicine, Medical Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, and Machine Learning. She serves as a visiting professor in the Health Informatics Master's Program at Gazi University's Informatics Institute.
Dr. Berikol plays an active role in numerous professional organizations at both national and international levels. Among these roles are Chair of the Digital Emergency Medicine Committee of the European Society of Emergency Medicine (EUSEM), Chair of the Informatics Special Interest Group (Informatics SIG) of the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM), and Chair of the Health Informatics and Technologies Committee of the Emergency Medicine Association of Turkiye (EMAT).
