I worked as an emergency medicine specialist specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on emergency services (2006) and have had continuous experience in emergency and intensive care since 2006. I began my career in a peripheral hospital and later worked at a large HUB hospital in Rome. Since 2024, I have served as Director of the Emergency Department and Emergency Medicine Unit at the Level I RIA in Anzio and Nettuno (Province of Rome).
I hold a PhD in Cardio-Respiratory Pathophysiology and my research focus is on the causes and treatment of respiratory failure. I have worked as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Emergency Medicine at Sapienza University of Rome.
Throughout my career, I have participated in numerous national and international research projects in the areas of hypoxia, cardio-respiratory failure, critical patient management, and non-invasive ventilation, and have authored approximately 50 publications in international scientific journals.
