Asist. Prof. Dr. Çağdaş Yıldırım, an academician and emergency medicine specialist, was born on November 19, 1986, in Antalya. After completing his primary and secondary education in Antalya, he was admitted to the Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in June 2010. He passed the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) and was accepted into the Emergency Medicine Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, where he became a specialist in January 2016. Between 2016 and 2018, he completed his compulsory service at Kahramanmaraş Elbistan State Hospital, Turkiye. In 2018, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine. As of February 2019, with the establishment of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, he continued his duties there. His academic interests include resuscitation, ultrasonography, pain management, and medical education. He is a certified instructor of Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS and ACLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA). He is also a member of the Turkish Emergency Medicine Association, where he serves as the course coordinator for the Resuscitation Working Group and as the secretary of the Pre-Hospital Commission. He is married and has a daughter.
