Ahmet Baydın

Ahmet Baydın was born in August 1965 in Artvin province on the Eastern Black Sea coast. After completing his primary and secondary education in Ankara, he started his higher education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in Samsun. After becoming a medical doctor in 1989, he completed his compulsory service in Batman and his military service in Edirne. After his military service, he worked in Ankara for a few years. In 1998, he started working as an assistant at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine. He became an emergency medicine specialist in 2002, an associate professor of emergency medicine in 2009, and a professor of emergency medicine in 2015. I have 98 original articles and case reports published in international SCI-E journals, 67 articles and case reports published in national journals, and I have written chapters in many books as well as translated book chapters. Ahmet Baydın, who has been honored with the incentive award by TUBITAK at various times, also serves as a consultant in international and national medical journals. Ahmet Baydin is a member of the Turkish Emergency Medicine Association and the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association.
