Yusuf Yürümez

He graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. In 1998, he began his Emergency Medicine specialization training at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, completing it in 2003. That same year, he started his academic career as an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Medicine and earned the title of associate professor in 2008. In 2010, he transferred to Sakarya University and was promoted to professor in 2014. He has numerous national and international publications and has served in various editorial roles in many journals, including as founding editor of the Sakarya Medical Journal and the Journal of Academic Emergency Case Reports. He is currently the founding and chief editor of the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Anatolian Medicine. He continues his academic career at Sakarya University. He is married and the father of three children.
