Visnja Nesek Adam

Višnja Nesek Adam, MD, PhD. is an anesthesiologist, emergency medicine specialist, and subspecialist in intensive care medicine, widely recognized for her expertise in emergency medicine. She is also a Professor at the JJ Strossmayer School of Medicine, University of Osijek, where she developed a passion for teaching. She has published over 100 scientific articles and edited 15 books and 3 monographs. Although she loves the clinical practice of anesthesia and emergency medicine, teaching students is her true passion. She is responsible for the education of medical students, anesthesia and emergency medicine residents. Doctor Nesek Adam is currently the Head of the University Department of Anesthesiology, Resustitation, and Intensive Care Medicine, as well as the Emergency departmant. She is the President of the Croatian Society of Emergency Medicine.
