Diana Cimpoiesu

Carmen Diana Cimpoeșu, Univ Prof (H), MD, PhD, is an emergency and internal medicine specialist with a true passion for continuous medical education and teaching. With a vast array of knowledge in the field of emergency medicine and resuscitation science and a caring approach to teaching young medical students and emergency medicine residents, she serves as the Head of the Surgical Department at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr. T. Popa” Iași, and Member of tthe Senat as well as the Head of the Emergency Department – SMURD at County Hospital “St. Spiridon,” Iași. She has distinguished herself in many prestigious societies, including the European Society of Emergency Medicine (EUSEM), where she holds the established title of Honorary Treasurer and being the General Secretary of Romanian Society of Emergency and Disaster Medicine, the President of Emergency Medicine Commission for Romanian College of Physicians , member of ILCOR and ERC-GA and 2025 ERC Guidelines Author. With true dedication, grit, and sacrifices, and with over 130 scientific articles ( 79 ISI) and 21 edited books (and still counting), you can always smile when you hear her mantra: “For others to live!” while she is by your side on call.
