George Notas

Dr. George Notas is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Crete School of Medicine and Vice-President of the Hellenic Society for Emergency Medicine. He has published more than 110 papers, and his clinical and research focuses include Information technology applications in Emergency Medicine and the role of hormones in acute inflammation. He has participated in and is currently working on several EU-funded projects and is an EU expert for Horizon 2020 and the European Innovation Council. He is keenly interested in information technologies in emergency medicine and non-technical skills, focusing on empathy development and compassionate care in emergency medicine.
