Prof. Dr. Okhan Akdur graduated from Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. After working as a general practitioner for approximately two years at Yass\u0131a\u011f\u0131l Health Center and \u015eefaatli State Hospital in the \u015eefaatli district of Yozgat province, he began his Emergency Medicine Residency Training at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine in 2000 and became a specialist in Emergency Medicine in 2005.\n\nHe worked as a faculty member at the Department of Emergency Medicine at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine for four years. Since 2009, he has been serving as the founding Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at \u00c7anakkale Onsekiz Mart University.\n\nDr. Akdur earned the title of Associate Professor in 2011 and was promoted to Full Professor in 2017. He also held several administrative positions at \u00c7anakkale Onsekiz Mart University, including:\n
